Fidan Israfil-Bayli
Founder & CEO
Dr Israfil-Bayli is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with more than 25 years of experience, working at Birmingham Women’s Hospital.She’s a member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists UK (RCOG)and British society of Urogynaecologists (BSUG). She had PhD from Azerbaijan (2009)on postdates pregnancy and MD from University of Birmingham (2018)- Cerclage outcome by the type of (COTS) study. She has numerous publications in high impact journals. Dr Israfil-Bayli is actively involved in research and is PI on few projects including CSTICH 2.
Heydar Mammadli
Secretary General
Heydar Mammadli completed his medical education at Ankara University School of Medicine. He subsequently worked at VM Medical Park Hospital. Since 2024, he has been working at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Queen’s Medical Centre, where he continues to develop his clinical expertise and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Dr Konul Hajiyeva
Chair of Education & Academic Affairs
With over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr Konul Hajiyeva is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist and Intensivist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. She combines specialist clinical expertise with a strong academic and leadership background. Dr Hajiyeva holds a qualification in Leadership, Research and Education from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Human Factors in Patient Safety, and a Diploma of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (DESAIC). She is an examiner for the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) and is accredited in transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE) by the European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), reflecting her advanced expertise in perioperative cardiac imaging and patient safety in complex cardiothoracic practice.

Graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University. Completed internal medicine training in Department of Internal Medicine, Marmara University School of Medicine, Turkey. Worked as an Internal Medicine Consultant in Istanbul, Turkey for more than 2 years. Volunteered in Cancer Research UK.
Kamala Ebrahimova
Chair of Strategic Development & International Relation
Currently works as a General Dental Practitioner in the NHS and private sector in the UK. Graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University and later completed dental training at King’s College London, qualifying as a dentist in 2011. Holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Dental Care (Merit) from the University of Kent (with FGDP UK), completed in July 2012. Has over 15 years of clinical experience with a special interest in aesthetic (cosmetic) dentistry. Fluent in English, Russian, Turkish, and Persian.
